17-year old Eli moves with his family to the isolated farm of reclusive Waylon (Brad Dourif), a man whose dark past hangs heavy over him. While the family works to restore the farm’s desolate fields, Eli loses himself in exploring the farm’s surroundings, while finding himself torn between two girls, his old friend Katie (his only connection to the outside world) and the mysterious Amanda who lives nearby. But as the dark secrets that overshadow the place begin to become apparent, Eli finds himself drawn to the fine line between life and death.
