Professor Stacey Abbott is a recognised expert on the horror genre, appearing on various radio and television programmes, and has given public lectures on horror and Gothic film at the British Film Institute, the British Library, The Old Operating Theatre London, St. Bart’s Pathology Museum, and the Miskatonic Institute of Horror Studies.

Stacey will be diving deep into gothic cinema, explaining its origins, off-shoots and diverse styles. From the obvious to the obscure, we’ll be covering a plethora of films that has the distinct honour to belong to one of the most traditional styles of storytelling that has defined horror for centuries.
