If there’s one thing we’ve learned in recent years, it’s the importance of looking after each other’s health and well-being. This page outlines some of the good practise we as a team will adhere to and that we expect from our audience as well.
We encourage:
- Frequent hand washing, especially before and after eating or drinking.
- If you cough or sneeze, please do so into a tissue and dispose of the tissue appropriately.
- If you don’t have a tissue, please cough or sneeze into the crook of your elbow.
- Please use hand sanitiser if you can’t immediately wash your hands.
You’re very welcome to wear a face-covering/mask during the festival.
If you do not feel well before you attend the festival we very kindly ask that you consider whether you’re able to attend.
If you start to feel unwell during the festival, in any capacity, please do let us know and we’ll do our best to keep an eye on you. Details of local pharmacies are available on our Local’s Guide but you can always ask the team for help.
If you experience any symptoms of Covid-19, please take an at-home test. If you test positive we kindly ask that you do not attend the festival.
There will be a quiet space available during the festival that you’re very welcome to use if you need a break during the event.
You’re very welcome to use fidget tools or stimming aids at the festival. If you’re using them during a screening, we simply ask that you’re mindful of others if they’re noise-making.
We have a dedicated accessibility page with other useful information as well. If you have any questions at all, please get in touch by emailing Nia on nia@abertoir.co.uk.
