We’re proud to present a night dedicated to contemporary queer horror, the first in our season of Abertoir events for 2026.

Featuring two of the most exciting recent horror films – Leviticus and Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma – the evening will also feature an extended introduction by our very own Dr. Nia Edwards-Behi.

The screening will take place 6pm, 9 October at Aberystwyth Arts Centre, and it’s only £10 for both films. Tickets are on sale and selling fast!

Leviticus (15; Adrian Chiarella, AUS 2026, 86mins)

Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma (15; Jane Schoenbrun, USA 2026, 112mins)
A new kind of horror remake from Jane Schoenbrun (I Saw the TV Glow), starring Hannah Einbinder and Gillian Anderson. After years of slapdash sequels and waning fandom, the Camp Miasma slasher franchise is handed over to an enthusiastic young director for resurrection. But when she visits the original’s star, a now-reclusive actress shrouded in mystery, the two women fall into a blood-soaked world of desire, fear, and delirium.
