We’re pleased to announce that we’ve joined forces once more with our good friends WOW Film Festival to bring a spooky bit of world cinema to the big screen as part of their festival programme.

This year you can experience Julia Kowalski’s searing Her Will Be Done at both Pontio, Bangor (March 21) and Aberystwyth Arts Centre (March 26), and this searing contemporary folk horror is certainly one to experience in the dark of a cinema auditorium.

“Nawojka (Maria Wróbel) dreams of escaping her harsh life working at the family farm. Under the influence of the free-spirited Sandra (Roxane Mesquida), Naw experiences trance-like episodes and strange powers, just like her dead mother before her…”

The film won the Directors’ Fortnight Audience Award and was a Queer Palm Nominee at Cannes Film Festival 2025, received a Feature Film Méliès d’argent at MOTELX 2025, and screened at the likes of Fantastic Fest, Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia, and Busan International Film Festival.

Tickets are on sale for both screenings now – and be sure to check out the rest of the WOW programme in both Bangor and Aberystwyth, as well as other venues across Wales.
