A young couple (Jesse Eisenberg and Imogen Poots) are thinking about buying their starter home. They visit a real estate agency where they are received by a strange sales agent who accompanies them to a new, mysterious, peculiar housing development to show them a single-family home. Once there however, they find themselves trapped in a surreal, maze-like nightmare with seemingly no escape. Vivarium’s been picking up great reviews on this year’s festival circuit and looks set to be one of the coming year’s big genre titles.
