While not a blaxploitation horror film in the purest sense, this Amicus production is no doubt an attempt to cash-in on the associated star appeal of stars Calvin Lockhart and Marlene Clark. The closest the UK came to the genre at its peak, we’re pleased to explore blaxploitation horror from a British context as part of this year’s festival.
